World Asthma Day - 2022
The Department of Pulmonary Medicine in association with the Department of Community Medicine at Malabar Medical College & Research Center, Ulliyeri had observed World Asthma Day 2022. The inaugural ceremony was conducted on 03-05-2022. The welcome address was given by Dr.Durga Balagopalan (Associate Professor, Department of Pulmonary Medicine). Dr.Sudha Anil (Secretary) delivered the inaugural address. Dr.Dinesh M.K (Deputy Medical Superintendent) felicitated in the function.
Dr. James(Head & Professor, Department of Pulmonary Medicine) gave a talk on the topic “Introduction of Bronchial Asthma” and Dr. Kanniyan Binub(Associate Professor, Department of Community Medicine) delivered a session on “Prevention of Bronchial Asthma”. Dr. Rajeev (Assistant Professor, Department of Pulmonary Medicine) handled Question & Answer session regarding to Bronchial Asthma. Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr.Sobin Sunny(Assistant Professor, Department of Community Medicine). Free spirometry camp was conducted on 4th , 5th & 6th of May 2022.
